The Panasonic with the eye record

Still no word on price and availability, but what is certain that the new Panasonic DMC-FZ48 has a 24x optical zoom.

Super zoom - Panasonic introduced the DMC-FZ48, a new bridge camera to be added to the family Lumix . Its main feature? A super 24x optical zoom of up to 32x using the Intelligent Zoom. Panasonic ensures that the image does not lose quality even when using the digital zoom through the Intelligent Resolution. The lens is the Leica DC Vario-Elmarit stabilized with 25-600mm equivalent focal length and anti-reflective coating Surface Nano.

Creative Mode - The latest purchase of the family has the Lumix Venus Engine FHD, shoot at speeds ranging from 3.7 frames per second in 12.1 Megapixel up to a maximum of 10 fps at 3 MP and records video in Full-HD 1080i at a rate of 50/60 fps with stereo sound for both Dolby Digital Stereo Creator. Panasonic provides for the most creative Creative Control mode that allows you to manage the opening and exposure of the lens while shooting movies. There's also a 3-inch LCD rear display to view photos and video.
