Microsoft may release its own tablet

It is rumored that Microsoft is thinking about creating your own tablet PC in collaboration with Texas Instruments. The basis of the gadget can be put to the latest processor TI OMAP4470, including dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor with a clock frequency of up to 1.8 GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-M3 and a graphics accelerator PowerVR SGX544. As a software platform will be used by Windows 8, which will interface optimized for touch screen, Internet Explorer 10 with improved tools for hardware accelerated rendering of Web pages and support for ARM-processors. The device assembly which will be engaged in the Taiwanese company's partners may be on the market by the end of next year.
