Tizen is the future of Meego

Meego the operating system of the Nokia N9 , will no longer be developed. The LiMo Foundation and the Linux Foundation, with support from various manufacturers, including Fujitsu, Panasonic, NEC, Motorola, ARM and others have announced plans Tizen for construction of a new operating system.

Tizen will be used on different categories of devices, including smartphones, tablets, Smart TV, netbooks and infotainment devices. The development will be completely open and driven by a technical management team consists of Intel and Samsung.
The APIs are based on Tizen HTML5 and other web standards and it is expected that most of the development of applications for Tizen will be based on these emerging standards.
The first version of its SDK and Tizen arrive in the first quarter of 2012.


Mozilla Releases Firefox 7 for Android

Mozilla announced the official release of new version of Firefox for Windows, Mac and Linux and Android. Firefox 7 significantly reduces the memory usage to make navigation faster and offers new tools to help developers in creating amazing web experiences across multiple platforms to be able to enjoy without interruptions. Among the new features of Firefox are the "Paste & Copy", press "Exit" to exit quickly from the browser, improved rendering of devices based on Tegra chip set, memory management more efficient and faster navigation through the automatic detection language settings of the device and the ability to copy any text from the web and paste it into emails or text messages.

To help improve future versions of Firefox, users can participate in Telemetry, a tool developed on the principles of privacy of Mozilla that enables you to provide anonymous data on the performance of the browser in a private and secure.
