Last year, the company surprised the audience at the festival audience, "charging" their boots, but this time it came to clothing. Together with experts from the company GotWind, engaged in renewable energy, Orange introduced the T-shirt, she called Sound Charge. From ordinary clothing of this type is characterized by the presence sewn into it a special film A4, transforming the pressure of sound waves into an electrical charge. In this film, a so-called piezoelectric effect, used in various electronic devices, including microphones. Actually, in this case, the film serves as a great microphone, which collects the energy of ambient sounds.Obtained in this way the electricity goes to charge the battery the special, which followed through the various adapters you can already connect and cell phones. As the developers say, the noise level of 80 dB, as for example, on the highway with heavy traffic or a rock concert, Sound Charge is capable of delivering up to 6 watts / hour of electricity, which is sufficient to charge the battery for a couple of days a typical smartphone.
