Company VIA Technologies has sold its subsidiary, S3 Graphics-known manufacturer HTC smartphones for $ 300 million. Of these $ 300 million VIA receive $ 147 million, while the remaining $ 153 million will go to an investment company WTI, which once helped keep the VIA S3 afloat. And inevitably, the smartphone giant gain better footing in the market with the introduction of products packed with better graphics and all that stuff. They've seen the company's value and potential in helping them gain a competitive. As the company gets bigger, it's interesting to see how the big players will react to this.
