G-Connect - a portable hard drive with Wi-Fi

Company G-Technology, which is part of Hitachi, will release next month a portable hard drive G-Connect to 500 GB. The drive is equipped with a LAN controller Gigabit Ethernet, wireless adapter Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n port and USB 2.0. Novelty can be used as backup storage for mobile devices, as well as a wireless access point. The model has DLNA support and is able to transmit high-definition material on wireless devices simultaneously on three or standard definition video directly to five gadgets. The drive is compatible with operating systems, Mac OS 10.5 or higher, Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7. G-Connect is worth about $ 200.
